The Aboriginal Student Retention website is an achievement of Centre de transfert pour la réussite éducative du Québec (CTREQ), made possible through funding from Réunir Réussir and MELS.
About CTREQ
CTREQ is a social innovation liaison and transfer organization (SILTO) whose mission is to promote innovation and knowledge transfer to increase academic success in Québec. It bases its actions on innovative practices and scientific knowledge.
CTREQ’s actions are guided by four objectives: increase synergy between stakeholders in research, the field, and organizations; spur development of academic success practices; contribute to fostering a culture of science and innovation in education; and build expertise in educational and social transfer and innovation.
CTREQ offers its services to help carry out transfer projects based on scientific and experiential knowledge. It also offers other services, including liaison and networking, professional development and guidance, dissemination and monitoring, consultation, and analysis.
These services are mainly for university and college researchers, practitioners, and organizations involved with academic success and student retention. Practitioners and parents are encouraged to view the Achievements section, where they will find a wide variety of practical tools on an equally diverse range of topics.
